Northwest Hospital Childbirth Center

The expert staff at Northwest Hospital’s Childbirth Center welcomes hundreds of babies each year in a warm, nurturing environment.

The center features:

• All-in-one labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum (LDRP) suites
• 24-hour anesthesia and epidural services
• Two surgical suites within the childbirth center so patients don’t have to be transported for emergency C-sections
• A Level 2 neonatal nursery
• 24-hour access to Jacuzzi tubs and suites equipped with either a Jacuzzi or full-size shower
• A bedside baby basinet stocked with newborn toiletries and educational materials
• A special dinner for the new parents and a handmade gift for baby
• Free Wi-Fi access
• Fold out bed for your support person
• TVs and DVD players, CD player
• Lactation consultants

We recommend that parents-to-be schedule a free, in-person tour of Northwest Hospital’s Childbirth Center to get a better idea of the services and amenities it provides. The center is open for tours on Tuesdays at 5 p.m., Thursdays at 4 p.m. & 6:30 p.m. or by appointment. Please call (206) 368-1784 for more information.
